Spring in Yucatan Peninsula the humidity and temperatures combine to make this season feel warm. Highs range from 101°F / 38.3°C and 89.9°F / 32.2°C with warmer temperatures in the later months. Rain is rare with 0 to 3 days of significant precipitation per month.
Late summer during August in Yucatan Peninsula the temperature can go as high 84 F./28 C, low temperature 77 F./25 C. With an average relative humidity of 78 % the heat index (feels-like-temperature) during the heat of the day will be around 111 F./44.3 C., when you are away from A/C, a fan, or an ocean breeze
Fall in Yucatan Peninsula daily highs ranges from 94.2°F (34.6°C) and 86°F (30°C), which will feel very nice given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a significant amount: 4 to 10 days per month.

This expedition is a whole complete experience from camping to luxury hotel boutique.
Along the hike, the first and fourth night we’ll camp at a the communities campgrounds. They have showers, dressing rooms, restrooms. The second and third night of hike we will spend night at eco-villages.
The nights at Merida city, the first and the last two nights we’ll stay at a hotel boutique in the heart of the city.
All food will be fresh and the most high quality.

This is an open group expedition, which means people from different parts of the world can book the retreat. Along the expedition, we will keep our retreat group activities private, however, we are sharing the Mayan Trail with other hikers/bicycle riders. We will have our private transportation and tours, when staying at hotels we will be sharing with more people the common locations according to the hotel capacity.

In this expedition, you'll visit two locations, the Caribbean, which is ocean level, and the Mountains 7,200 ft / 2,200 m.
Caribbean temperatures can go from as high 86 F /30 Celcius to low 75 F / 24 Celcius
San Cristobal de las Casas mountain can go from 69 F / 21 Celcius to low 40 F / 4 Celcius
You'll be a total of 4 days in the Caribbean part of the trip:

During the first part of the trip to the Caribbean part of the trip, we will stay for 3 nights on a spider monkey reservation and we will be hosting in their luxurious Glamping, we pick this location due to their commitment to environmental conservation and to support their research project. The tents are thatched roofed with cotton canvas walls, all the Glamping suites have private bathrooms.
In San Cristobal de las Casas we will stay in the heart of downtown at a family own small traditional hotel ranked as a 4-star hotel. If you rather stay in a hotel boutique, we can arrange that for you to adjust the pricing, just let us know.
On our stopover in the Caribbean flying back home, we will stay in a private village at Playa del Carmen.

The first and last night of your trip in this expedition will be in a cabin and hotel 4-star ranked, during the expedition we have million-star ranked accommodation camping under the stars!
The first days of the camping will be as fresh as possible to keep on the travel coolers, as the expedition advance we have prepare healthy pre-pared meals, all the food will be high quality.

The Harlow Hotel is a Historical building considered a treasure in the diverse architectural history. The building, completed in 1882 is the second oldest commercial building remaining in Northwest Portland and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
